Product Introduction: |
Colorless fuming liquid. Melting point -96℃, boiling point 76℃, relative density 1.6625 (16.4/4℃), refractive index 1.4486. Soluble in benzene, ether and methyl chloride. Gradually turns yellow in the air, reacts violently with water or alcohol to generate acetic acid or acetate, respectively, with the same reactivity as Acetyl chloride, but more active than it, and emits smoke that is highly irritating to the eyes. Flammable. Strongly corrosive. |
